Belong

Finn Partners is teaming up with cancer-focused social platform Belong.Life as it works to expand its ability to reach patients, providers and other advocacy groups. A major part of that effort is the Belong.Life Patient Impact Survey, a set of 13 questions that were sent to randomly selected members of the Belong online community. Most of the questions address the degree of fatigue that patients feel during treatment and the effects that fatigue has on their ability to pursue adequate care. Belong co-founder and CEO Eliran Maliki says the survey shows that effective communication about such treatment-related symptoms as fatigue “can help patients stay on course with better quality of life.” Finn Partners managing partner and global health practice head Gil Bashe says the firm “has long recognized that communication plays a vital role in helping people learn about their health, and when necessary, manage diseases such as cancer.”
