The Public Relations Society of America-New York Chapter will present their 2018 awards for individual achievement by public relations practitioners to Roger Bolton, Shelley J. Spector and Olga González during the 31st Big Apple Awards presentation ceremony on Monday, June 11.

Bolton, president of the Arthur W. Page Society, will receive The John W. Hill Award for outstanding lifetime achievement in public relations. Spector, president, Spector & Associates, will receive The Philip Dorf Award for leadership and mentorship; and Gonzalez, CEO/founder of Pietra PR – The Jewelry PR Agency, will receive the President’s Award for outstanding service to PRSA and PRSA-NY.

The 2018 honorees were selected following a public nomination period and deliberation by a committee of PR industry executives who presented unanimous recommendations to the chapter’s leadership for confirmation and endorsement.

“Shelley Spector and Roger Bolton truly live the principles of these awards, as professionals who have each advanced the craft of communications and helped professionalize our industry,” said Mike Doyle, partner & regional president, North America, Ketchum.
