The Washington Redskins have promoted Zena Lewis to director of communications and hired Sean DeBarbieri as media services coordinator. Lewis, who joined the Redskins staff during the 2015 offseason, has been responsible for provides the media scheduling, promotional efforts, counsel and media training surrounding the Redskins players. Before coming to the Redskins, he contributed to the game day press operations for the Tennessee Titans (2009- 10), Detroit Lions (2011), Miami Dolphins (2012 preseason) and Atlanta Falcons (2012-14). DeBarbieri joins the Redskins with more than five combined years of professional and collegiate sports public relations experience, including internships with the Los Angeles Rams, New York Giants and the sports information department at Rutgers University.

Dix & Eaton has promoted Karin Bonev, Kellie Friery and Angela Rodenhauser to senior vice president, and Angela Almasy to senior account executive. Bonev, who has been with the firm since 2003, leads its internal communications practice and works with the marketing communications practice. Before coming to Dix & Eaton, she worked in education and communication at Victory Capital Management. Friery, who has been a part of Dix & Eaton’s investor relations practice since 2005, was previously an auditor with Ernst & Young LLP. Rodenhauser develops and executes comprehensive communications strategies and programs to support corporate executives in effectively positioning theirs. Before joining Dix & Eaton in 2000, she was with a different Cleveland-based investor relations consulting firm. Almasy joined Dix & Eaton in 2014 as an intern and was then hired as an assistant account executive. She moved up to account executive and, now, senior account executive. “These women are all proven leaders within our organization, and we couldn’t be more excited to announce their promotions,” said Chas Withers, CEO of Dix & Eaton.

Needham comes to Vistra from NASB Financial, where she was vice president, marketing and e-commerce.
