There are volumes of implications in this short blurb. Among other things, the poor but oil rich Nigeria will do what Iraq had us do: send money and men to rehab the oil fields for auction/sale to big oil boys; PB will not help to sell "reconstruction contracts" to rebuild what we destroyed in Iraq and Afghanistan, etc etc. This reminds of the seminar held at the National Press Club in DC months before the invasion indicated as : opportunities for business in Iraq or something close to it.
If the oil operation in Nigeria is rusty, let the oil industry pay for its rehab, not American taxpayers. As to reconstruction in Iraq and Afghanistan, please read WHEN DO WE GET PAYBACK FROM IRAQ published in these pages a while back.
