Ronald N. Levy (Dec. 23, 2013): Many people may owe their lives to this guy because of a danger to the public that is not apparent to everyone.
The possible peril, sometimes a VERY unlikely peril, of one ingredient or another may get throngs of people--eager for a cause they can fight for--to passionately call for a government ban on the ingredient.
But an often far bigger danger is that millions of people may starve to death because population is growing rapidly but farm acreage is staying the same. So more and more feed ingredients are needed or else more and more helpless children and adults in the third world won't be fed.
There are "sing to fight hunger" events, "give to fight hunger" pantries to feed the hungry, and all kinds of other promotions to feed the hungry but we are turning tons and tons of FOOD into gasohol.
Well-intentioned people hungry for a cause to fight for keep marching and yelling that "someday, who knows" some feed ingredients may be bad for some people. But without those feed ingredients, hunger and starvation can hit millions of people NOW and not just maybe but for sure.
