Boar’s Head Brand, a leading purveyor of deli meat, cheeses and condiments in the New York metro area, is wrapping up its search for a PR firm to handle its $400K budget.
The Sarasota, Fla.-based company distributed an RFP in late November with an agency selection date expected during the Jan. 6-17 period.
Anna Foster, communications specialist at BHC, declined to comment to O’Dwyer’s about the hunt to promote its line-up of more than 500 items, which contain no-fillers, by-products, trans-fats and glutens.
The work is expected to cover PR, planning, program development and media outreach.
BHB has a tie-in with the American Diabetes Assn., which schedules its annual ADA Alert Day on the last Tuesday in March.
The PR firm will help BHB leverage its ADA-reviewed and endorsed recipes.
BHB was founded in 1905.
