Public affairs vet Jim Lake has landed at DDC Advocacy, the 18-year-old Maryland-based firm.

jim lakeLake exits McBee Strategic, where he was an EVP handling domestic and international development, digital strategy and client counsel. He was a partner and president at Gibraltar Associates and chaired Burson-Marsteller's U.S. PA practice.

B.R. McConnon, chair and CEO of National Harbor-based DDCA, said Lake's contributions to clients and the firm's expansion will be "considerable."

Lake worked in the Reagan administration's office of presidential advance and President George H.W. Bush's International Trade Administration.
