Brown Lloyd James is handling global PR activities for the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies & Research, the think tank of the United Arab Emirates.
As subcontractor to Adam Friedman Assocs., Peter Brown’s firm does PR for the Center, which conducts research “relevant to the national security and economic well-being” of the sheikdom and its Persian Gulf region neighbors.
The Center also supports the government’s decision-making process by preparing best policy scenario reports and promote the “professional development of UAE nationals through training programs.”
The nine-month contract is worth $810K, according to BLJ Worldwide’s agreement with New York-based Friedman.
BLJ also represents Ecuador’s leftist government, which is in the process of cracking down on its national media, and the China-U.S. Exchange Foundation.
Edelman is providing communications support to Panama’s Ministry of Commerce and Industries under an agreement capped at $97,100 per month.
