Digital marketing firm Didit has acquired LVM Group, a boutique New York PR shop with clients like 3M, Insperity and the Empire State Building.
Eighteen-year-old Didit, which is based on Long Island, made the move to establish a Manhattan presence and add PR to its services like SEO/SEM, social media, and online ad targeting.
David Grant, who started out at Rubenstein Associates and dates his firm's origins back to 1974, leads LVM. He said the deal gives his firm "greater depth" on the social media and digital front. "The difference is that now we are part of a truly integrated marketing agency," he said.
Executive VP Jeannette Boccini in a partner in LVM.
Didit chief Kevin Lee praised LVM's PR content savvy, noting it will complement his firm's efforts in social and online marketing. "Public relations people are the storytellers," he said.
