FleishmanHillard has recruited Ephraim Cohen, MWW’s executive VP-innovation and chair of its technology & digital media industry practice, to spearhead its social media efforts in New York and Boston.
Prior to MWW, Cohen ran The Forex Group, a community-building enterprise involved in the media, music and video sectors, and served as executive VP/GM technology at Edelman.
At FH, he reports to Robert Dowling, eastern region president, who praised the new hire for his “unique combination of an intellectual approach with practical hands-on experience.”
He also noted Cohen’s “understanding of the relationship between brand and reputation.”
Laura Anderson, who rose to VP/GM of global communications and events in a nearly 20 year stint at Intel, will take on the Americas technology chair at Burson following the completion of the BCW and H+K merger on July 1.
