Catherine Sullivan, who handled PR at Omnicom’s Porter Novelli subsidiary, now does it for Burson-Marsteller in the managing director of worldwide communications post. She reports to CEO Don Baer.
The more than 20-year agency veteran also was editorial director at Manning Selvage & Lee and held a mix of editorial and account management posts at Publicis Dialog, Gibbs & Soell and Cohn & Wolfe.
Baer expects the WPP wing to benefit from Sullivan’s “client-facing and in-house communications” savvy along with her editorial and marketing skills.
B-M’s long-time PR chief Paul Cordasco remains a managing director. He will take on client duties.
