Global cement giants Lafarge and Holcim have engaged PR counsel in their $60B blockbuster merger announced April 7.
Boards of the two companies have agreed on the deal, which is expected to draw antitrust scrutiny for its impact on global construction supplies like cement, gravel and sand.
Paris-based Lafarge, which had 2013 revenue of nearly $21B, is relying on Brunswick Group and Havas in Paris, and Hirzel Neef Schmid Counselors in Zurich for PR support. Alexandra Rocca is executive VP of communications, PA and sustainable development for Lafarge.
