Scott Leightman, who has 20 years experience in sports PR, is now USA Swimming’s PR/communications director.
He will also rep day-to-day communications and be national spokesperson for the governing body of US Swimming governing board of USA Swimming in Colorado Springs.
Leightman joins USA Swimming from Buffalo Communications, where as VP he handled 10 clients of the golf/lifestyle shop.
Previously, he was PR director at TaylorMade-Adidas Golf, VP/PR at the Charlotte Bobcats and director of basketball communications at the Phoenix Suns.
Leightman is eager to showcase the fun and life lessons offered by swimming.
