Rosanna Maietta, a nine-year veteran of FleishmanHillard, is now senior VP/development and head of PR & communications at the American Hotel & Lodging Assocation.
She'll focus on outreach to mainstream, trade and political media for the Washington-based trade group.
Prior to FH, where she was senior VP, Maietta was senior media relations manager at Newsweek and radio anchor in Rome for Vatican Radio and Bloomberg.
AHLA wants Maietta to do messaging work and position it as a major driver of economic growth. The group says its members generate more than $150B in annual income and serve about 5M guests.
