seaportWashington State's Grays Harbor Historical Seaport, home of the tall ships Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain and site of a major economic redevelopment effort, is trolling for a firm to conduct a communications and brand audit.

The Grays Harbor Historical Seaport Authority, based in Aberdeen, released an RFP as it looks to update a 20-year old brand centered on its living history tours aboard the two tall ships.

The Authority has acquired 38 acres of waterfront previously used by the Weyerhaeuser Company and is in a master planning process to create a multi-use tourism destination and "major economic engine" for the city and region.

Proposals are due Aug. 29. View the RFP (link).
