In her State Dept. stint, Seiden was in charge of budget, strategic planning and the US Agency for International Development.

She also worked as VP-corporate strategy & business development at BlackRock, held various posts at New York University revolving its operations and general counsel units and did crisis work at Edelman.

Haley Barbour, former Mississippi Governor and Republican National Committee chair, said Seiden's "Democratic roots, her outstanding service in Democratic administrations will offer fresh perspective for BGR."
