Matt Bennett, senior VP of communications and PA for the drug industry trade group PhRMA, has moved to Racepoint Global as senior VP to lead its Washington outpost.
Bennett spent three years at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association, directed all internal and external comms. He was previously a senior VP for Golin in DC leading several healthcare PA accounts and earlier did stints at the Alliance for Public Technology and the Alliance for Community Media.
Racepoint, part of Larry Weber's W2 Group, is led by Peter Prodromou and focuses on PR and PA for tech, healthcare and lifesciences clients like IBM, Kaiser Permanente and Thermo Fisher Scientific.
