Kelly McAndrew, a top corporate communications exec for Cablevision and Viacom, has moved to $3.8BN water technology and services company Xylem as VP of global public affairs.
She exits the VP/corporate comms. slot at Cablevision Systems, the New York-based cable provider, after two years.
Rye Brook, N.Y.-based Xlem was spun off from ITT Corp. in 2011.
McAndrew was previously SVP of corporate comms. for Viacom, senior director of PR for The Pepsi Bottling Group, and manager of external comms. at Texaco.
McAndrew reports to chief communications officer Angela Buonocore.
Xylem's businesses span pumps and filtration, fire fighting, wastewater treatment and other water applications. It has 12,500 employees worldwide.
