outfrontCBS Outdoor Americas today announced it will rebrand as Outfront Media as part of its of the transformation of the New York-based out-of-home media company.

The company separated from CBS Corp., launched an IPO, converted to a REIT in July and acquired the outdoor assets of Van Wagner.

Jeremy Male, CEO, said Outfront Media is a "completely reenergized company" focused on delivering innovative technology and creativity to clients.

The company has begun the rebranding of its more than 100K displays and will make the new name official next month.

Meanwhile, Nick Brien, CEO of Interpublic's McCann Worldgroup, has been named a director of CBS Outdoor.

He has more than 30 years of global agency experience, which includes helming IPG MediaBrands, Universal McCann and Arc Worldwide.

Male said his company would benefit from Brien's "unique cross-disciplinary perspective, extensive operational experience and deep expertise working with world-class brands."
