Jim Moorehead, a partner at Washington's Steptoe & Johnson, has moved to Burson-Marsteller as managing director in its US PA & crisis practice in D.C.
Michael Law, B-M US CEO, believes Moorehead's "legal and advocacy expertise represents a valuable resource for any client facing a crisis situation."
The former co-chair of S&J's crisis management practice handled Congressional/regulatory/criminal probes, class actions and public issues.
Prior to S&J, he served at Covega Corp. as VP/CFO/general counsel at the Columbia, MD, firm.
Earlier stints included positions in Goldman Sachs' investment banking division and US Attorney's Office in Maryland.
WPP owns B-M.
