Gene Grabowski, who handled crisis, litigation communications and issues management at DC's Levick, has moved to Washington-based kglobal as partner.

A Levick staffer said Grabowski had been working on an "of counsel" basis for the last year or so. Lanny Davis, former special counsel to President Bill Clinton and Levick executive VP, is handling the firm's crisis unit.

He devised communications strategy on behalf of Kuwaiti detainees held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Grabowski, who also did a stint at Burson-Marsteller, ran campaigns for Russia, Kazakhstan, Uganda, Sun Microsystems and Motorola.

Kglobal is the strategic communications, public policy, PR/marketing arm of Zenetex, information technology/program management operation in Herndon, Va.
