NYC Policeman Cleared in Chokehold Death

A Staten Island grand jury has voted not to indict a policeman in the chokehold death of Eric Garner. The 43-year-old unarmed black man was arrested for selling untaxed cigarettes. New York's medical examiner had ruled that the chokehold caused Garner's death. Police brace for protests in the city.
