Kevin Grodzki has been elected VP-communications & PA at Lake Forest, IL-based Brunswick Corp. It's a new position.
He'll oversee internal/external PR, government relations, community and industrial ties.
The 15-year Brunswick vet joined as president/CEO of its life fitness operation before taking the responsible for sales/marketing/commercial sales of the Mercury Marine unit in 2005.
Prior to Brunswick, Grodzki was VP at Crompton Corp.'s $500M polymer adhesive group and 22 years at DuPont.
Mark Schwabero, COO of Brunswick, said Grodzki's familiarity with Brunswick's key marine and fitness along with his stature within the industry makes him the right person for the new slot.
Brunswick's brands include Mercury/Mariner outboard engines, Boston Whaler/Sea Ray boats, Hammer Strength workout equipment and Brunswick pool/ping pong tables.
