MediaTracks Communications, radio/audio services provider for PR pros at companies such as Walmart, McDonald's and Coca-Cola, hit the 25-year mark this past Dec.

The company, founded in 1989, also produces two of the nation's most listened-to public affairs radio news programs, Radio Health Journal and Viewpoints, airing on nearly 1,000 stations nationally. It began operations as producer of the syndicated The Search for Mental Health, created for Forest Hospital in Des Plaines, IL.

Other services include guaranteed placement audio news releases, custom feed news stories, radio media tours, and PSAs, all available in both English and Spanish.

Shel Lustig, president and co-founder said, "In an age when public relations professionals have so many options for media outreach, it is gratifying to be growing and getting so much positive response to our work. Listeners can access their favorite stations on-air or online with the click of a mouse, making radio more easily accessible than ever before. Radio continues to play an important role for savvy PR practitioners who understand the medium and the results it consistently delivers.”

"We have always been focused on providing our clients with the best content available for broadcast and that comes as a result of thorough preparation, superb writing and outstanding production services," said MediaTracks VP and co-founder Reed Pence.

Lustig had previously been production director and air personality at Chicago's iconic WXRT, as well as a program host and producer for the city's NPR affiliate, WBEZ.

Pence was previously a reporter/producer for WLUP/Chicago, the AP Radio Network and for CBS radio. Lustig and Pence met while working as producers for the PIA Radio Network.
