Investor relations chief Jaison Blair will add responsibility for corporate communications as a senior VP for Time Inc., which spun off from Time Warner last year. His oversight includes corporate messaging, IR and employee communications.

Everett is the former News Corp. senior VP who joined Time in 2012.

Valentino has been senior VP of communications and brand development.

Time Inc. CEO Joe Ripp and EVP Evelyn Webster said in a memo that the EVP/comms. slot is being eliminated, as Daniel Kile is elevated to SVP, brand communications, under Webster and overseeing media relations and comms. for 24 of Time's titles. Kile was VP of communications and rose through the ranks at Fortune PR.

Senior VP of marketing Susan Parkes will oversee PR for People and Entertainment Weekly.

The executives said the moves, aimed to consolidate five communications functions into three, will "more effectively coordinate corporate, brand, internal and investor communications."
