The Colorado Rockies have put the team's communications operations under marketing chief Jill Campbell and brought in San Diego Padres PR hand Warren Miller.
The franchise is combining its business and baseball communications in one unit under Campbell, who takes the title of VP of communications and marketing, adding public and media relations oversight.
Miller joins as director of communications title, starting Feb. 19, handling day-to-day media relations. He spent the past eight years handling PR and minor league baseball operations for Padres after stints with the Seattle Mariners and Houston Astros.
Nick Piburn (assistant dir., comms.) and Matt Whewell (mgr. of comms.) round out the Rockies' PR team.
