The Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board has named MWW, M Booth vet Jamie Foley as VP-global communications.
She had been at MWW in the group VP-travel slot, handling clients such as Air New Zealand.
Earlier, Foley was VP at M Booth & Assocs, working on US Virgin Islands, American Express Travel and Montage Hotels & Resorts.
At LA Tourism, Foley with support the PR and conventions group, overseeing its domestic and international agencies in their bid to position the City of Angels as the preferred tourism destination.
Chief marketing officer Don Skeoch said Foley would bring her "stellar reputation of travel brand building and storytelling" to the travel organization.
