MWW has recruited campaign vet Paul Tencher to help manage its Washington office and serve as national director of public affairs.
Tencher spent the last decade in Democratic campaigns, most recently scoring a win in Gary Peters' successful election to the US Senate in Michigan in November and an upset victory for Democratic Sen. Joe Donnelly in Indiana a year earlier.
He was campaigns director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and served as comms. director for Rep. Mary Jo Kilroy (D-Ohio), among other posts.
Tencher takes a senior VP title with MWW. Michael Kempner, president and CEO of the firm, said, "If you're in politics, you know the name Paul Tencher."
MWW saw a 7.8% jump in 2014 revenues to just under $52M, according to the O'Dwyer's rankings released this week.
