James Carville, keeper of the Clinton flame, wrote his first column today for the liberal Media Matters for America site, warning its gentle readers that Hillary Clinton's email headache "is a made-up scandal, nothing more than another made-up scandal in a long, long line of made-up scandals" about the Clintons.

carvilleThe Ragin' Cajun is back.

Carville, who guided Bill Clinton's rise from nowhere to the White House, emerges just in time for the former First Lady, who has jittery Democrats concerned about her lack of a campaign infrastructure to help fend off GOP attacks.

Relax. The one-man wrecking crew now has Hillary's back.

Carville informs readers about journalism's "Clinton Rule" of one standard for all politicos and one for the intrepid duo.

For instance, JC says former Secretary Colin Powell and Jeb Bush both used personal email for official business, and received a free pass from the media.

Gearing up, Carville wrote:

"Over the past 20-plus years, I have seen Whitewater, Travelgate, Filegate, Pardongate, and every piece of fake nonsense that the press and right can come up with.

They all have one thing in common: take 'em all together, add 'em up, and multiply it by ten, and you come out with a pile of crap."

The Democratic hatchetman goes on to accuse the New York Times of aiding Clinton's opponents by leaking info to them. He recalls how the Old Gray Lady worked in tandem with the Bush II Administration to pave the way to the Iraq War. Remember the aluminum tubes needed to enrich uranium tall tale pushed by the NYT.

The now Tulane University professor expects more fresh bogus Hillary scandals to crop up, which is why he signed up as a regular contributor to Media Matters.

Welcome back, James. You've been missed. Happy hunting.
