Barbara Bush and Gary Hart have both expressed bewilderment over why a large chunk of a nation of 300M people deems only two families suitable to serve as President of the US.

hrcThe former Colorado Senator is among many Democrats who are upset with the prospect that no strong and well-financed primary challenger has stepped forward to prevent the coronation of Hillary Clinton.

The Ready for Warren activist group has run an earnest bid to enlist Elizabeth Warren as a progressive alternative to Clinton. It plans the launch of an "Environmentalists Activists for Warren" splinter group this month.

Ready for Warren though has gained little traction with the Massachusetts Senator who said on a number of occasions she is not going to run for the White House.

Some potential Democratic candidates believe Hillary's massive campaign warchest rules out a challenge. Hart is appalled that the Clinton Machine plans to spend $1B on behalf of Hillary. And there lies the solution to the no-challenger dilemma.

Team Clinton should fund a opponent for Hillary. How about kicking in $100M to allow a politico such as lefty Bernie Sanders take a shot at Clinton? A series of debates between Hillary and Bernie would certainly liven things up. It would also toughen up Hillary for the general election and give her an opportunity to explain why she is running for President, other than a sense that she has done her time in the public limelight. Entitlement shouldn't be the ticket to the White House.

Even a better scenario: The GOP should invite Hillary to their debates, which would be rebranded as the Presidential Debate.

There would be a fear that Hillary would suck the air from the proceedings, but Hillary wouldn't have to appear at all of them.

The GOP has sanctioned nine debates, with the first in August. The public's novelty with the debates is bound to wear off after No. 5 or No. 6. Boredom results.

Enter Hillary. She would pump fresh life into the battles and boost ratings for the show. It would be a win-win situation for Republicans, Clinton and America.
