catherine namCatherine Nam, director of international publicity for Warner Bros. Pictures, has moved to its New Line Cinema unit as VP of publicity and communication.

At New Line, Nam takes over for Candice McDonough, who moved to Relativity EuropaCorp Distribution as EVP of theatrical publicity.

Nam's role spans both corporate comms. and movie publicity. At Warner Bros., she handled global campaigns for the Hobbit trilogy (New Line produced "The Lord of the Rings" films) and "Edge of Tomorrow," in addition to awards pushes for films like "Gravity" and "Argo."

New Line's 2015 slate includes "Hot Pursuit," "San Andreas" and a remake of the comedy classic "Vacation."
