poonRyh-Ming Poon, a video game PR executive who has promoted "Guitar Hero" and the rental service GameFly, has moved to mobile games developer SGN as VP of communications.

SGN, an acronym for Social Gaming Network, is led by MySpace co-founder Chris DeWolfe and produces so-called casual games like "Panda Jam" and "Panda Pop." The company told CNBC in April it expects revenues to clear $280M this year

Poon, as global PR director for Activision, handled its lucrative "Guitar Hero" franchise. She served as VP of PR for gaming portal Machinima.com and held that same role with GameFly, the Neflix of video games.

For Los Angeles-based SGN, she overseas its global communications and media relations efforts, in addition to events and marketing.
