More than 30 PR firms in the Boston area have organized Boston PRound, a May 29 event to benefit victims of the Boston Marathon Bombings.
The evening event at the Back Bay Social Club on Boylston Street will benefit The One Fund Boston, the fund set up by the city of Boston and state of Massachusetts.
Participating firms, including Porter Novelli, Chen PR, Racepoint Group, Cone, Weber Shandwick, Schwartz MSL, Shift Communications, among others, say they are "putting their competitive nature aside for a greater cause."
Ticket are $20 and can be purchased at bostonproudnight.eventbright.com.
"No pitches, no long speeches, just a good reason to rally and show support for our hometown," said inkhouse PR's Mary O'Leary.
Organizers said 100% of the proceeds will go to the fund.
