Corporate and financial PR vet Bob Jones has moved to The Blueshirt Group as managing director to develop a healthcare practice for the San Francisco-based firm.
New York-based Jones is a former CEO and managing director of Morgen-Walke Associates and was VP of IR and corporate communications for online job giant Monster Worldwide. He exits EVC Group, where he was a senior managing director for the IR shop.
Blueshirt was founded by Morgan-Walke alums Alex Wellins, Erica Abrams and Chris Dunne.
Wellins said the financial and tech-centric PR firm sees the healthcare sector as a vertical growth opportunity in areas like life sciences, biopharma, medical devices and health tech.
Lo Isidro, senior director at Real Chemistry with more than a decade of strategic communications and PA experience, has joined Narrative Strategies.
Nelson Fernandez, former North American chair of APCO Worldwide and managing director of Burson-Marsteller, has joined Volunteers in Medicine Berkshires as director of communications and PA.
