Will he or won't he? Will Donald Trump wear his signature campaign baseball cap during the big debate on Thursday? The hat features Donald's campaign slogan, "Making America Great Again," a phrase he undoubtedly would dub "terrific" just like everything else he associates with The Donald.

trumpThough the real estate mogul holds a commanding lead in the GOP polls, the professional pundit class says he has zero chance of notching the Republican candidacy and a sub-zero shot at becoming the next President.

Yet crazier things abound in life, such as the injury-riddled New York Mets, a team that two weeks ago had a clean-up batter hitting under 180, rising to the top of the National League East.

Republicans fear irking the billionaire and PR master because he could opt for a third-party run that would hand the election to the Democratic opponent.

The chattering class, however, sees one benefit in Trump's run for the GOP nod: he makes Jeb Bush look downright Presidential.

But if it takes a cartoon-character like Trump to make Jeb look good, it's time for Bush to give up the family business.

The Wall Street Journal today ran a front-page story, saying voters are rejecting establishment-backed Republican and Democratic candidates, providing openings for Trump and Bernie Sanders.

The Donald has generated buzz for the GOP race and the Cleveland debate shoot-out, and hopefully more interest in the political process. What's so bad with that?

Tip for Trump: perhaps refrain from dismissing your fellow debaters as "losers." On second thought, just be unpackaged and unscripted you.
