Mark Duffy, an Irish PR and political operative in Washington, has left Qorvis MSLGroup for McBee Strategic Consulting in the capital.
Duffy, who handled PA and public diplomacy clients at Qorvis, takes up a manager title in McBee's communications practice. He was political adviser to the UK trade envoy to Iraq and the Irish prime minister, and was a senior aide to Irish Sen. James Carroll.
He also helped Sen. John McCain's 2008 presidential bid take part in the Irish-American Presidential Forum, a traditionally Democrat-leaning event.
McBee is a unit of DC law firm Wiley Rein.
