French West VaughanFrench | West | Vaughan has lined up K4 Connect, Raleigh-based technology integration company that works to improve lives of senior citizens and their families.

K4Connect transforms residencies into communities of "smart homes" by linking Internet-enabled devices and applications into a single easy-to-use offering to control lighting, temperature, security and communications systems.

CEO Scott Moody said the rapidly growing senior market is an underserved one.

He expects F/W/V's extensive top business-to-business brand experience will help his company get "in front of senior living executives and leaders across the country.”

Moody is co-founder of AuthenTec, developer of the Touch ID technology used in Apple iPhones.

Apple acquired AuthenTec in 2012 for more than $350M.
