SKDKnickerbocker has recruited veteran TV news producers Marcela Salazar and Ben Geldon to support its corporate and non-profit clients.
Salazar, who takes the senior VP post, spent a decade at CNN and Univision. Earlier, she served as senior press aide for former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
Geldon, who joins the firm as VP, is a 15-year veteran who most recently worked at Bloomberg, where he handled “Market Makers with Erik Schatzker & Stephanie Ruhle” and “Money & Politics with Peter Cook." He also did stints at CNN and AP.
“Marcela’s background in television along with her experience tackling diversity issues and building coalitions, Ben’s background in finance and economics will be a strong addition to our corporate and advocacy practice,” Hillary Rosen, managing director of SKDK, said in a statement.
