Molly Biwer, VP of corporate communications and public relations at Carlson, has been named senior VP of public affairs and communications of Hallmark Cards Inc. She joins the company November 9 and will report Hallmark President Dave Hall.
Biwer succeeds Steve Doyal, who is retiring.
Biwer will lead Hallmark's communications, public relations, government affairs and community involvement programs. She also will be responsible for the Hallmark Visitors Center and the philanthropic activities of the Hallmark Corporate Foundation.
"Molly brings to Hallmark a wealth of experience in strategic communications, industry relations and employee engagement," said Hall, in a statement. "Her extensive brand experience, focus on driving business results and commitment to civic and community involvement make her a perfect match for Hallmark."
Worldwide, Hallmark offers products in more than 30 languages available in 100 countries.
