Shift Communications on Monday announced three key promotions designed to expand the PR agency’s tech practice and bolster its services.

Derek Lyons has been promoted to newly created position of senior VP of integrated services, from VP of account services. The new position marks the creation of a dedicated service bureau devoted to integrating marketing technology and other non-traditional services into all of the agency’s operation.
Dan Brennan has been promoted to oversee a portfolio of tech B2B clients, after three years as account director in the agency’s Boston office. As part of his new role, Brennan also will have increased responsibility for driving his team's new business initiatives.
Cathy Summers has been promoted to senior VP of account services, from VP of account services. In her new role, Cathy will be tasked with growing the agency's B2B practice, with an eye to new business development.
