TransMedia Group on Monday appointed Ken Qualls as the PR firm's new president of TransMedia Aviation News, Operations and Sales.
The new division will offer commentary and professional opinions relating to flight safety and air disasters, while offering guidance for purchase of private and corporate aircraft.
A veteran airline and corporate pilot, Capt. Qualls will provide analysis on breaking news involving in the aviation industry. He is a top expert for Gulfstream and Boeing aircraft, said Tom Madden, chairman-CEO of TransMedia Group, and has logged an estimated 30,000 hours of flight time across the globe.
First on the docket for Qualls: Offering commentary on the recent crash of a Russian airliner that killed all 224 people aboard. An ISIS bomb is suspected of causing the crash.
