Global PR powerhouse Porter Novelli has appointed four new partners to the Omnicom unit’s leadership team. The new partners are Rosy McGillan, Matthew Podboy, Jennifer Swint and Melissa Kraus Taylor.
McGillan is currently executive VP of Porter Novelli’s health and wellness practice in Washington, DC, where she heads campaigns for clients in the healthcare sector. McGillan joined Porter Novelli in 2005 and previously worked in MSLGroup’s healthcare practice.
Podboy is executive VP of the technology practice at Porter Novelli property Voce Communications, which he cofounded in 1999, and was later acquired by Porter Novelli in 2011. Prior to founding Voce, Podboy previously worked at Weber Shandwick.
Swint is executive VP and managing director of Porter Novelli's Washington, DC office. Prior to joining the agency, she was senior director at APCO Worldwide, and was previously a senior executive at Atlantic Media Company, as well as an executive VP at Powell Tate/Weber Shandwick. She also founded independent communications and public affairs agency Nine Dot Strategies Inc.

Taylor is executive VP and managing director of Porter Novelli's Atlanta office, and previously led strategic planning at the agency’s London office. A 17-year Porter Novelli veteran, Taylor is dean and co-creator of Porter Novelli's global professional development program, Greater Than University.
The agency in a statement said the recent appointments come in recognition of “a deep commitment to attracting and developing the best talent.” Porter Novelli currently lists 21 partners. Each partner is subjected to annual evaluations by an executive committee in order to retain this status.

Porter Novelli was founded in 1972 and holds 84 offices worldwide.
