Washington, D.C.-based public affairs and communications agency Susan Davis International has promoted Daniel Gregory to the role of vice president.

Gregory, who joined SDI in 2010 to lead accounts for the agency’s military and veteran affairs clients, was previously a strategic communications specialist for the U.S. Army. He initially served as a media trainer for senior Army civilians, officers and NCOs with the U.S. Army’s Office of the Chief of Public Affairs, before becoming a communications specialist and speech writer for the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs / G-1. Prior to that, Gregory was the program manager for the Center for Strategic and International Studies' Abshire-Inamori Leadership Academy, in Washington, D.C.

As vice president, Gregory will be responsible for the ongoing development of SDI's business development and marketing strategies.

Susan Davis International, which specializes in public affairs, media relations, government and international relations, crisis communications and special events, was founded in 1985.
