Spectrum ScienceWashington, DC-based healthcare and public affairs firm Spectrum has appointed policy veteran Al Jackson to the role of executive vice president. He will now lead that agency's public affairs practice.

Jackson joins Spectrum from Washington, DC’s O'Neill and Associates, where he was senior VP and lead that agency’s healthcare division. Prior to that he served as Washington office director for Chandler Chicco, was a partner and director at Ketchum's public affairs unit, and was VP of political affairs and grassroots advocacy at the American Hospital Association, as well as the director of the American Medical Association’s political action division.

In his new role at Spectrum, Jackson will be responsible for enhancing and expanding the agency’s public affairs capabilities and current client base.

Spectrum, which was founded in 1996, holds additional offices in New York and Atlanta.
