Mauricio GutierrezMiami-based marketing and corporate communications agency JeffreyGroup has promoted Cristina Iglecio and Mariana Villarreal to serve as the agency's newest regional executive directors.
Iglecio, who joined JeffreyGroup in 2008, was most recently Brazil managing director, based out of the agency’s wholly-owned São Paulo office, and oversaw management of that location, as well as JeffreyGroup’s Rio de Janeiro office and its Brasilia location, which opened last summer. Iglecio has now been named president of JeffreyGroup Brazil.
Villarreal joined JeffreyGroup in 2010 and was previously JeffreyGroup Mexico managing director. She is now charged with guiding planning and development for the agency’s client markets in that region, and has also been named JeffreyGroup chief strategy officer for Spanish-speaking markets. Mauricio Gutierrez succeeds her as managing director.
As regional executive directors, Iglecio and Villarreal will now serve on the agency's new four-person executive management committee, along with JeffreyGroup CEO Brian Burlingame and chairman and founder Jeffrey Sharlach.
