The US Environmental Protection Agency is preparing to review its PR, advertising and marketing business in support of the Energy Star program.

Energy StarThe EPA's Office of Air Programs, Climate Protection Partnership Division, which administers voluntary pollution prevention efforts, expects to award a one-year base contract with four option years with a size standard of $14M per year.

The work covers PR and media relations, new media, advertising, educational outreach, strategic planning, market research and related disciplines to support Energy Star, the energy efficiency program for consumer products that originated in the US and went global.

The Cadmus Group is the incumbent on a pact expiring on Aug. 28, 2016.

An RFP is anticipated to be issue in March.
