Chicago-headquartered Interpublic unit Current has appointed two new senior vice presidents in a bid to boost the agency's influencer marketing and strategic planning capabilities.

Clint Bagley joins Current’s San Francisco office as senior VP and influencer relations practice lead. He comes to Current from content and influencer marketing company Federated Media, where he was vice president of corporate communications. He previously managed integrated communications programs for clients such as Dell, Disney Interactive, Intuit, LEGO and Roku.

Bagley will now lead Current’s influencer marketing practice, a role that will include guiding the agency’s strategic partnership with influencer platform TapInfluence. Current secured that partnership last year, providing the agency new content creation and distribution capabilities through TapInfluence’s massive digital influencer network.

Seth Goldberg becomes the newest senior VP of Current’s Chicago office, as well as head of strategy. Goldberg arrives at Current from marketing agency FCB Chicago, where he was senior vice president and group planning director. Prior to that he held senior creative roles at marketing and technology agency Digitas and advertising network Wunderman. Goldberg has fielded communications work for brands such as Cox Communications, KFC, Kmart and Le Cordon Bleu.

Goldberg will now oversee client projects across Current's offices. He will also assume a lead role in new business opportunities.

Current, which specializes in consumer, food and beverage, home, travel and wellness, accounted for more than $10 million in net fees in 2014, according to O'Dwyer's rankings of PR firms.
