Dallas-based web development and content management company Wieck is launching a new digital platform titled Tritium.

Wieck

The html-based service essentially works as a micro-site, allowing communicators to package and present multimedia content on their clients — photos, videos, whitepapers — quickly and easily. The tool, which serves as an alternative to multimedia news releases, can be loaded and launched within four hours of receiving content, and can also be dropped into an existing website.

The platform, which is currently in a soft-launch phase, has not yet been marketed. Wieck recently used the service for clients the Ford Motor Company, Six Flags Entertainment and the Texas Auto Writers Association. An officially roll-out date will soon follow.

Tritium’s price-point is expected to be under $2,000.

Wieck, which was founded in 1990, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Clients include The Arthur W. Page Society, Haymarket Publications, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan Motor Company and The New York Times.
