Hanover, Maryland casino and entertainment complex Maryland Live! Casino has hired Washington, D.C.-based firm Stanton Communications to serve as its official agency of record.
Maryland Live! is one of the largest commercial casinos in the U.S., with approximately 4,750 slot machines, 200-plus live table games, high-limit rooms, and a performance venue/nightclub as well as dining and entertainment options. The casino, which opened in 2012, is owned and operated by real estate development and entertainment group The Cordish Companies.
Stanton has been retained by Maryland Live! to advance all of the casino’s media relations and communications initiatives. The agency will work to support brand building by elevating recognition of the casino brand among regional audiences while also raising awareness at a national level. Stanton will also support the destination’s promotions, events and upcoming openings, and will also promote the casino’s community work.
The PR pact comes as Maryland Live! has directed more than $200 million in future expansion projects, which includes the development of a flagship hotel slated for completion in late 2017.
