Carey Phelps, an investor relations and corporate communications exec for Spectrum Brands and Beazer Homes, has moved to publicly traded building and contracting materials supplier BMC Stock Holdings in Atlanta to direct IR.
Phelps recently handled IR and corporate comms. for Beazer Homes. She earlier served as division VP for IR and corporate comms. at Spectrum Brands through the company's Chapter 11 reorganization.
Additional IR posts included ChoicePoint and Mirant Corp.
BMC, which went public in 2013, posted second quarter revenues of $797.5M with net income of $18M.
